Last Wednesday it was cold. It was dreary. I wanted to stay inside, but I could not. I had many errands to run. What’s a girl to do?
Put on a fun, flirty dress with some bright colors that will beat away the grey day, that’s what!
I had been lovin’ this Anthropologie Midday Dress online, but I knew I was going to wait for a good sale price on it. When I went to do reviews at the end of March, I tried this dress on and fell in love.
It is such an easy, comfortable, flattering fit. Many other women were buying this dress the day I was there. In fact, one woman wore it up to the cash register and asked if they could cut the tags off after she paid for it, because she wanted to keep it on for an event she was going to. I loved that!
I also love the spin factor of this dress.
It is fun!
May I never grow too old that I cannot enjoy a good spin! Oh! The rush!
Back to Earth. I’m graceful.
Do you have a dress you love to spin in? A way to beat a dreary day away? Please share.
P.S. More photos of this dress can be found here.

I shared this on The Pleated Poppy!
Swishy skirts rule!! This one is really flattering. Maybe I should go hunt it down… 🙂
Thank you Rachel! Hopefully it will go even more on sale tomorrow! That would be awesome! : ). I hope you can get it. It would be super cute on you!
Have a marvelous Monday!

Such a fun dress! I never noticed the striped version till you posted yourself in it. It is SO cute on you. I wishlisted it…but I have a serious problem with striped dresses. I believe I have 6 different striped dresses of a varitation of lengths, styles and stripes. However, I don’t have anything like this one…so maybe…. 😉
Ha! I have a problem with striped dresses, too. I cannot say no to them. However, I do tend to wear them more than any other item in my closet, so I guess they are worth it. Maybe it will be an even better price soon! That would be fabulous!
Oh! And thank you for the compliment! : )
Have a terrific week!

I saw this dress at Anthro this week but didn’t try it on. I regret that now! What a great dress… looks so pretty on you.
I love your second last photo.
Thank you Liana! I had to include that photo. It was too funny! I hope you get to try it on! I bet it would be great on you! And it is very comfortable, too. I love comfort above all other things fashion!
I hope your week is magnificent!

This is cute and looks very fun to wear. I love a dress that has a full skirt.
The tights look great with it.

Love this dress on you! I think I will never ever be too old to swing in a swingy dress! I think getting dressed up is a great way to confront a dreary day. Much better than hiding under the covers which is what I always want to do when it is cold and dark. Thank goodness I don’t live in the Pacific Northwest! Yay for sunny SoCal weather most of the time. We are lucky ducks most days! xo
Thank you Cynthia! This weekend was so gorgeous! I was actually thrilled to spend time outdoors. We are very lucky! I am looking forward to all of the sandal wearing days!
Have a lovely week!

I love the dress, and I love, love, love how you styled it with the tights and boots! There’s nothing better than a “spin dress!”
Thank you so much! It is a sweet dress. I think that will be the last time I get to wear tights for a very long time. I hope you are getting warmer weather. And I hope you are feeling great! : )
Have a beautiful week!

super cute dress, it looks fabulous on you! And love those boots with it. And I agree with you, those boots are super comfortable and easy to wear. I’ve worn mine tons so I know I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of them!
Thank you Jessica! And I love those boots. Since I did not get them until recently I will have to get most of my use out of them in the coming years. Thank you again! : )
Have a super week!

I always look forward to your outfits Jenni. You always manage to create fun, colorful, girly, a little bohemian outfits with your dresses. Love this dress in particular and it looks great with the Red Tights & Camel Booties.
It is definitely Dresses+Tights weather here, When you get a second, come see how I have remixed the latest out of my 30 for 30 challenge. Thanks.
Stay warm and be well! Ada. =)
Thanks Ada! I appreciate that! I am running around all day today. If I don’t stop by today, I definitely will tomorrow. Thanks again! : )
Have a lovely week!

That dress is awesome!! And I love all of the blurry spinning photos. 🙂
Thanks Rachel! I have recently learned through experience that indoor spinning pictures get very blurry due to improper lighting and outdoor spinning pictures are much clearer! I have had fun spinning outside lately! : )
Thank you again!
Have a terrific Thursday!
