It is in fact this amazing, most gorgeous sweater coat in the whole wide world. It is called Satpura Sweater Coat from Anthropologie.
Thanks to my dad and stepmom’s Christmas gift card, I was able to put it towards this sweater that I had been wanting since I first saw it. I think it is grown-up bohemian.
When my daughter saw me in it, she said, “Mom! You look like one of those rich fancy ladies!” These are the compliments you get when you spend a weekend in your pajamas (your husband’s ratty twenty year old t-shirt and bright orange polar bear pants) and then put on real clothes. I highly recommend it.
And I am not sure which rich fancy ladies she is talking about, but I’ll take it.
I love the details.
And the fringe? Forget it about it!
I went with a small and I am happy I did.

Shhhhh. Don’t tell my husband. His lack of sequins just don’t quite compare. Poor guy. ; )

Thank you Judi. I would think this will make it to sale. I purchased full price only because I had a gift card. I would hate to tell you to wait and then it sold out. I do not know how fast it is selling. I would check the inventory online in your size and see how many are in stock. Then I would check daily to see how many are selling per day. Cause I am obsessive. ; ) That way, hopefully you can get it at a great sale price! Sorry to be so confusing.

Went to try on the other and they sent me 2 right feet!!! Trying to track down another pair but if they are shipping from a store, they don’t ship to canada 🙁 very sad!! Trying to figure out how to still get them

Much better day, after 5 phone calls, I found a pair! And I found an awesome online friend who offered to let me ship them to her! Woo hoo! Now, let’s hope they ship!! Thank you for offering to check! The CS person wasn’t going to even give me the store name because if it shows one pair usually they don’t have them. But, my last store they had them. Jackpot! Now, let’s hope for another cut!
How awesome! And even more awesome for all the trouble you have gone through would definitely be another cut! Gosh! My fingers and toes are crossed for you on that one. I would not return the other pair until I got these. What if they are both left feet? At least you could match them.

Really pretty, Jenni. What beautiful detailing. The small fits you perfectly and I do love that fringe. It also looks warm. I am in Houston right now and it is going down to 29 tonight. Yesterday there was ice hanging from my mom’s roof. Would you please FedEx me you sweater so I don’t freeze? Ah, never mind – my mom’s dogs would most likely destroy it by covering it in fur!

That sweatercoat is awesome! The details on it are so striking and cool! I totally agree that it’s grown up bohemian. It reminds of desert nomad tribes. I don’t know why every piece of clothing has to belong to a bigger theme or culture or region with me, but it does. You are going to have so much fun styling this! Over tops and pants, absolutely, but maybe even over dresses or top/skirt combos. This one’s a special one, that’s for sure!

Yes, I just have the vibe that it may be going on sale soon, because there’s all this new coming out – I’m going to see what Monday’s sale holds, because this one is definitely worthy! When I like something in particular, I get obsessed too! I felt that way about the Moonflower Sweater that was out right before Christmas – I kept stalking both the two stores closest to me and online until I finally “scored” one!

Oh Jenni – I think we have “ESPN”, as my dad used to say – sure enough – it went on sale TODAY! I HAD to pull the trigger! I wasn’t really sure what size to get – I went for a Medium and since I’ve lost weight, I may have needed the Small – the brand (Angel of the North) runs on the large side but I’ll just have to see! Can’t wait!

I think I saw this sweater coat on sale on the anthropologie website. If you have your receipt and purchased it within 14 days, you should be able to get a price adjustment, I believe.

I just bought this today with a gift card and a store credit from a pair of Miss Albright booties that I have been debating on if I reallllly needed. Since it got cut today and I have been giving it the hairy eyeball ever since it hit stores I figure we were meant to be. I want to wear this with EVERYTHING! I hate that it will soon be warming up here in S. Texas, but luckily my office is freezing year round 😉
Oh yay! So glad you were able to get it! I have the same dilemma in Southern California. Although it might be in the 50s to tomorrow! Sweater weather! I love cold indoor places! Right now my house is way too hot!
