The week before we went on vacation, I had stumbled upon a delightful surprise. These Nate Berkus Moroccan Shag Pillows. They are from Target. They are sold out online, however, the website was saying they were sold out when I looked them up right after I purchased them, too. This leads me to believe that some stores might still have them.
I had been wanting these pillows for months. But the day I decided to get them in the middle of May, they were gone. Two weeks later, I found them again. Someone had returned them. I was not going to let them be sold out from under me again.
I love the black and white pattern in the room that is full of color. It is a nice contrast. And the shag effect on them makes them feel soft. I had to replace the pillows that used to be on the chairs. They had become too worn. And the Rabbit Pillows I purchased a few months ago, have been a little dog-handled. I need to fix the pompoms or cut them off completely.
I will say the insert in this pillow is not the best. The pillow is stiff because of that, but for $25, that is to be expected. The pillow does not have a zipper so it is not possible (without some work) to change its insert.
Do you have a thing for pillows? I cannot get enough.
I saw these Menagerie Pillows online and I knew. I had to have them. Then Anthropologie had a customer appreciation day and they went 15% off.
I purchased two of them for my husband to give to me at Christmas. But then they came.
And I fell in love.
They have pompom balls. There is even one on the back. Get it? It’s a tail.
I have one in each of my yellow chairs.
And now it is official. I am the crazy bunny lady. Or the crazy Alice in Wonderland girl….
I’ll take it! Excuse me… I have a pillow I must go cuddle. No carrots required.

And My Romantic Home
I bought some “new”babies two months ago. Where has the time gone? (I just realized I have not posted about them.). And they have all ready taken over my heart. Well, they are not babies, exactly. They are more like fluffy objects of joy. Otherwise known as pillows.
I have not bought new pillows in a while. It used to be quite an addiction for me. I have made pillows, not bought them. There really is a difference, I promise. I did buy a pillow while on vacation. But that does not count, because it was a souvenir. Do you see how I rationalize things? Imagine being married to me…
I had waited for these pillows to hit sale for a very long time. I think they came out in July of last year. The pillow was called Jacobean Pillow (in small) from Anthropologie. They sat in my cart and waited for mommy.
They finally went on sale for half price. I swooped in and rescued them. They sit at either end of my sofa.
Do you have a pillow addiction? What is your latest splurge?
P.S. I purchased these peonies at Albertson’s this week. I think they look like tissue paper. I am in love.
