It’s A Golden Age, Eyelet Believe

I purchased my Free People Golden Age Top last summer (previous post here) and I wear it all of the time.

It can be layered with almost anything.

I do not wear jeans a lot, but I had a chiropractic appointment that day and could not wear a dress.

Because of its open back, I decided to try the Golden Age Top with the Free People I Got My Eyelet You Top I scored recently at Nordstrom Rack. It paired perfectly together. I also wore my Free People eyelet bra so it would be cohesive.

The Eyelet Top has the faintest line of pink around the hems (it makes my heart surge with its sweetness), so I knew I wanted to wear pink and gold jewelry.

It might be the prettiest top I have ever seen and I cannot wait to pair it with a denim jacket in the wintertime. It is perfect with the Golden Age Top, though, because it has the most adorable tied back and that top really allows it to be seen. I think it would also look fantastic layered with this this sleeveless open back top.

A lady complimented me on my top that day and I had to tell her it was actually two different tops paired together.

Then I got embarrassed, because she probably did not care.

I tend to give too much information.

Speaking of information, I took both tops in a size medium.

Are you obsessed with lace and eyelet? Do you pair them together?

I cannot get enough of this pairing. Eyelet just want to spin!

And doesn’t that sound golden?

  1. You know, I have a distinct lack of eyelet and lace in my closet. I don’t know why, I just don’t gravitate there! Looks great on you though, love the outfit with the that amazing gold cuff.

    • Thank you Rachel! I wear that cuff all of the time. It was $6 at Forever 21. Really nice heavy weight for such a good price. You would look great in lace, but I always love what you wear. You look pretty and chic.

      Have a super Sunday!

  2. I love lace and eyelet, and am a big fan of pairing it with jeans. This top is so pretty, and your styling of it is just beautiful!!

    • Thank you so much Barbara! : ). I see lace in my closet and I always want to wear it. I have to force myself not to wear this top all of the time.

I hope you have an amazing weekend!

  3. Jenni, that top(s) is stunning! I love it. So beautiful. I love all lace and eyelet. In fact, I have bought 4 either white/lace/eyelet dresses or shirts in the last few months….plus I have wishlisted a few more! I finally got my computer back and can comment, instead of just read! 🙂

    • Thank you Alicia! : ). I cannot wait to see the Bermeja dress you got on you! I hope we get to. It will look so good with your color hair! I hope you are doing okay with back to school.

      Have a gorgeous weekend!

  4. Stunning! I love that you paired two tops together – they look like they were meant to be. I am not surprised that you received a compliment from a stranger. I also love the flowy top with the bootcut jeans – such a great vibe!

    • Thank you Ashley! I have been having to wear more jeans lately with all of my chiropractor appointments. I want to wear this shirt to dinner tonight, but I do not want to get any sauce on the white. Now I have to come up with something else to wear.

Have a lovely week! Thank you again!

  5. So pretty! I’ve been wearing a lot of tops lately that have lace accents, and I love them paired with jeans(especially worn-in, distressed jeans). I also recently bought a longer, tunic-length camisole in a wine color with a ruffle and lace at the bottom. I’ve been trying it under all my tops, and I love that little extra feminine detail. I guess i’ve been inspired by your outfit posts!

    • Thank you Heather! I was happy to do so. : ). Good luck with your move. I hope it goes smoothly and ends happily! : )

      Have a wonderful week!

  6. So, so pretty! I love eyelet and lace, but together is even better! Ha, silly rhyme!! I really know how you feel about sharing too much information, I do that! I think I’ve gotten a bit better about not doing it. I think if someone said or asked something I wouldn’t just stop at the answer, I’d keep going on too much, & probably always more than they cared, & even a bit embarrassing for me!

I’ve been working so much lately & tending to the kitten, I didn’t even get to read my blogs this week! So I’m catching up now!

    • Thank you Rebecca! I have been the same way this week. I am so behind! I am hoping to catch up tomorrow after my doctor appointment. The days have been speeding by! I cannot wait to hear more about your kitty. What an exciting time in your household!

      Have a marvelous Monday!

    • Thank you! Oh my goodness. You are the sweetest. I desperately need to get back in touch with you. Life has been getting in the way lately of everything. I should have done a better closeup picture of the hemline, but it did not come out.

Thank you again! : ). Have a lovely rest of the week!

      Jenni

    • Awwww. Thank you so much! I appreciate that! : ). I love your blog name. I will definitely check it out tomorrow. : )

      Have a sweet Thursday!
