I loved this denim dress when I saw it on H & M a few months ago. The best part about it was definitely the price. It was $39.95 but I think I paid $24 for it after a coupon. It is sadly now sold out online (I found this one that is similar, but I have never purchased from that store before). It is a blank slate. I could not wait to dress it up. I have a chambray maxi dress but it is strapless so it limits how and when I can wear it.
This dress is short, so it limits how and when I can wear it. That seems to be a theme around here when it comes to chambray.
The sandals are Gentle Soul’s Tall Gladiator Sandals. I purchased mine through Anthropologie, but Piperlime has them on sale.
The scenery was gorgeous. So peaceful. I felt lucky to capture it.
It was a beautiful and windy day.
Lots of fun jewelry! The large jersey necklace is Simply Livly’s Turquoise Necklace and the others are layering necklaces from Anthropologie last year. The bracelets are from H&M and the larger one is Free People’s Hammered Multi Cuff.
Do you have a lot of chambray pieces? Do you still like denim and chambray? I thought I would be over the trend by now but it is still going strong!

This is a fantastic outfit. I love those sandals on you. The neutrals of the sandals and the chambray are perfect! I use my denim jacket for everything…so I hope that trend does not die out.
Thank you Alicia! I wear those sandals so many times in upcoming photos. I hope it is not overkill! I also love denim. I hope it never goes out of style! Although, I do long for the days when everybody dressed up. And there were no such things as booty shorts!!! Sigh.

I love this sweet chambray dress on you! I LOVE chambray, but sadly, I have very little in my closet. I love how it goes with any kind of accessory. I have a darker, more denimy (is that a word, yes, of course it is!) shirt that I use to dress things down. I’ll wear it over an elegant skirt and top I’m dying to wear, but too dressy on its own for the occasion. Works like a charm. 🙂

Thank you Rachel. I definitely felt the same way about chambray at first. It reminded me of the 80s tacky pale denim. I would never pay a ton of money for it, but I do like it when I can get it on sale. I bet it would look great on you. Especially with your new cute haircut.

Awww. Thank you. That is so sweet. Sorry it took me so long to reply! We are finally settled down here. Ollie is snoring at my feet. He did not miss us as much as Murphy did. He loves our pet sitter so much. She lets him sleep in our bed! So, I think he is bummed that he no longer gets to.

I don’t have a lot of denim or chambray, but I consider them to be neutral pieces so they’re definitely versatile. This dress is perfect on you. Love those shoes everytime you wear them.
Thank you. I consider denim and chambray a neutral, too. That is probably why I do not have a ton of it. I tend to buy more colorful pieces than neutrals. The few things I do have, though, I treasure.
