It’s The Little Things: Butter Dishes

I love a butter dish. They come in so many different varieties, colors, shapes, and patterns. It is nice to have something pretty to set on the table. Especially something to accompany something as simple as bread.

I have purchased all of my butter dishes on clearance from Anthropologie. Although, I only use this lovely lass in my everyday use. She just makes me happy. She is beginning to show her age, but, then, so am I.

I love mint and cream combined. It is a lovely combination.

This one was a steal. I couldn’t resist.

There are more at Anthropologie that I am lusting after. Waiting patiently for a sale.

The Tea and Toast Butter Dish is simple and is all ready a great price

And Amazon has some:

a Le Creuset one in Fennel that is gorgeous

And a drool worthy Talavera style butter dish that I would have scooped up, if not for the shipping.

It’s the little things: A way to make an everyday object beautiful.

  1. Love all your butter dishes! I gave the one you use everyday as a gift to my neighbor (in the red motif). She loves it. Just wish listed the Okuno which is so pretty!

    • That is so cool! I had ordered the red version when it hit sale for mother, many years ago. It came broken in the tiniest pieces. That reminds me, I still owe her a butter dish! : )

I love the Okuno one. They always seem to make it to sale. I hope you snag it!

Thank you so much for commenting! Have a most wonderful day!
